Welcome to the Longsight Home and Garden retail website terms and conditions (the “Terms“). Your use of the Website is governed by these Terms, together with the separately posted Privacy Policy. Please take the time to read these documents as they contain important terms which apply to you and tell you information about us and the legal terms and conditions on which we sell (or make available for sale) the products listed on our Website. These Terms will apply to any Contract for the sale of products to You (the “Contract” is defined in a section below). You should print a copy of these Terms or save them to your computer for future reference. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, please do not use our Website or order any products from Us.

We may amend these Terms from time to time as set out below. Every time you wish to order any products, please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms which will apply at that time. These Terms were recently updated on 11 May 2022.

• “Personal Information” means the personal details provided by you on registration;
• “product” means a product displayed for sale on the Website;
• “we/us” means Longsight Home and Garden, Longsight Road, Langho. BB6 8AD
• “Website” means the retail website located at www.longsighthomeandgarden.co.uk or any subsequent URL which may replace this sit;
• “you” means a user of this Website.

Our telephone lines are open Monday-Friday, between 9.30am and 4.30pm, and we are closed on weekends and on Bank Holidays. Please note that all calls to our Customer Services department may be subject to your standard telephone charges, and inbound and outbound calls may be recorded for quality monitoring and training purposes.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. Billing will appear as Longsight Nursery Ltd. Goods will only be despatched once the payment has been cleared.

Most of our prices (although not all of them) exclude the delivery cost. The delivery price is dependent on the delivery method, destination and weight. Please refer to our delivery section for more information.

VAT is included in all our prices (unless otherwise stated) and will be charged at the standard UK VAT rate and is subject to change without notice. Longsight Nursery Ltd t/a Longsight Home and Garden is VAT registered. Our registered VAT number is GB-156652983.

Payments to Third Party Suppliers – Garden Buildings

Shaws for Sheds – A deposit payment of 15% is paid to secure the order, once the shed has been manufactured you will be asked to pay the Balance to Shaws for Sheds on the Installation day or just before. They accept card payments, cash or cheque on the day of installation.

Clearview Greenhouses – A deposit payment of 20% is paid to secure the order, once the shed has been manufactured you will be asked to pay the Balance to Clearview by the end of the Installation day or just before. They accept BACS payments only.

TimClad Limited – A deposit payment of 15% is paid to secure the order, once the shed has been manufactured you will be asked to pay the Balance to Timclad Limited a week before the Installation day. They accept card payments, cash or cheque on the day of installation.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear on our website. We can not guarantee that your computer’s monitor display of any colour will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region or authority. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit quantities of any products that we offer. All descriptions of products are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product on this website is void where prohibited.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

If the cost fo the Products to us increases due to any factor beyond our control including, but not limited to, material costs, labour costs, alteration of exchange rates or duties, or changes to delivery rates, we can increase the Price prior to delivery.

Any increase in the Price under the clause above will only take place after we have told you about it.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change or suspension.

These Terms and Conditions are effective as 4 May 2022. We expressly reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice to you. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Website and these Terms and Conditions from time to time and to familiarise yourself with any modifications. Your continued use of this Website after such modifications will constitute acknowledgement of the modified Terms and Conditions and agreement to abide and be bound by the modified Terms and Conditions.

Your use of the Website is subject to all applicable laws and regulations, and you are solely responsible for the substance of your communications through the Website.

By posting information in or otherwise using any communications service, chat room, message board, newsgroup, software library, or other interactive service that may be available to you on or through this Website, you agree that you will not upload, share, post, or otherwise distribute or facilitate distribution of any content — including text, communications, software, images, sounds, data, or other information — that:

Longsight Home and Garden reserves the right to terminate this Terms and Conditions or suspend your account at any time in case of unauthorised, or suspected unauthorised use of the Website whether in contravention of this Terms and Conditions or otherwise.
