Introducing this stunning and spectacular ‘Wiltshire Greenhouse’.
The Wiltshire offers a selection of models in this beautifully structured design. This traditional Victorian greenhouse would make a truly impressive statement piece in anyone’s garden up and down the country. The greenhouse is not only stylish but very practical with its many quality features.
Handcrafted from selected 5th grade redwood pine timber, the Wiltshire greenhouse is made here in the UK to the finest of standards and personally delivered and installed in your garden by qualified Clearview installers.
Starting at 6′ 8″ x 4′ 3″ and stepping up to an impressive 6′ 8″ x 21′ the greenhouse offers as standard a single inward opening door, windows with fitted thermostatic controlled automatic openers and staging down one side. Available as extras are cold frames, high level shelf, traditional Victorian openers, side vents, antique casement stay and guttering.
There is no need to worry about the longevity of these buildings as no corners are cut when they are carefully handcrafted. Using Russian 5ths, which is the highest quality pine available; it has smaller and fewer knots than the lower grades and has a tighter grain for better stability with less natural movement. The timber is also treated with next generation Tanalith E preservative giving you up to 15 years protection.
The greenhouse is available in eight different colour options or in the natural tanalised option. We endeavour to do our best and work with you in order to build a personalised design which is just right for you.
The build quality sets these small greenhouses apart from the competition including the sturdy eave bracing on each side to roof bar and the 25mm thick solid damp proof barrier around the bottom which is crucial on wooden greenhouses to lift the greenhouse out of standing water.

TREATMENT
We supply our products with two finishes. They come as either a treated finish or as a painted finish. As standard (un painted) they come pressure treated in tanalith E preservative which is a natural finish with a green tint to it. Over time the green will fade and the product will become brown then that will again fade and the whole product will turn grey. This doesn’t mean that the product is no longer treated it is just natural weathering of the timber and treatment. Although the building is pretreated we recommend retreating each year to prolong the life of the product.
Treatment for painted buildings
All our painted buildings are also pressure treated in a treatment tank similar to our standard buildings but in a different treatment. The tanalised preservative has too much salt in for the paint to adhere too correctly and comes in from the mills far too wet to paint onto so we did some research and found the best pressure treatment for applying coatings too and used this for our painted buildings.
Paint
In the early days of making garden buildings all we made was pressure treated buildings. Over and over we were getting requests for painted buildings so we ran tests and did experiments and came up with a selection of our own colours that have proven to be extremely popular. We made our own in-house spray booth and drying room and came up with a system that all our painted buildings go through to give the best possible finish and life longevity. The paint company we now work with has created outdoor paints that are made specifically for the outdoor garden building and furniture industry, and have built in certain property’s with in the paints to allow it to move with the natural movement of the timber. It is a 2 coat paint system that does not require primer and has knotting inhibitor in it to help slow the leakage of knots.
BASE WORK
After purchasing a greenhouse you will need to get a base prepared ready for us to install on to. We recommend getting a professional builder to install your base making sure it is square, level and free from obstruction. If you need any guidance regarding what type of base would best suit your chosen greenhouse, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will guide you through the requirements. Please remember when siting your base that we will require enough room for the installation team to work around your building and you will need enough room around the building to maintain it.
