The Shadow 3m x 3m Square Steel Pergola – Grey Frame is a stylish solution for outdoor shelter, perfect for patios and gardens.

Constructed from galvanized steel, this pergola is UV protected, making it resistant to fading and heat damage.

Extend your outdoor season with this pergola, which keeps the rain out and lets the sun in, thanks to its tilting louvres. The crank handle allows you to easily switch between a closed, sheltered space and an open top. This pergola lets you choose between sitting in sunshine or shade and provides shelter if it starts to rain unexpectedly – typical British weather!

A convenient built-in drainage system means you won’t need to open the louvred roof to let water drain. Rainwater flows into U-shaped channels within the pergola’s horizontal framework, then into the hollow pergola legs and down to the ground. This clever system ensures you won’t see water draining off the pergola. If you open the louvres when wet, the U-shaped channels prevent rainwater from dripping under the sheltered area and soaking your garden furniture.

Our weather-ready pergolas provide a dry, sheltered space for you and your garden furniture during rainy conditions. However, in heavy downpours, there’s always a chance of leaks. Just like with your house, we recommend checking the pergola gutters for debris to keep it in good condition.

This pergola requires assembly, and we recommend having 2-3 people to safely lift and assemble it. The estimated build time is approximately 2 hours. It should be placed on a solid, hard surface, such as concrete bases. To ensure the drainage system functions properly, the pergola should be secured to a patio with a slight decline, which most patios naturally have to allow rainwater to flow away from the house. Make sure the pergola legs are securely bolted to the ground using the holes in each leg base plate, and fastened with the provided expansion bolts.
